Apps provide certain free services to attract users and them make purchases on your improved versions. While you might have spent heavily on design and development. You might think the bulk of the revenue is generated through in-app purchases, subscriptions, licensing and advertising. But this is not totally true as the bulk of the revenue is generated while developing and customizing to a specific client base.
